I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience helping older teens and adults navigate OCD, anxiety, trauma, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I specialize in evidence-based treatment for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), intrusive thoughts, and anxiety disorders, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I also incorporate trauma-informed approaches and EMDR when appropriate.
I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Loyola University of New Orleans and my Master's degree in Social Work from Tulane University. My clinical experience includes working at River Oaks Hospital as well as maintaining a private practice, where I have helped individuals overcome challenges that interfere with their relationships, work, and overall quality of life.
I believe that specialized mental health care should be accessible. Many individuals seeking OCD treatment struggle to find providers trained in evidence-based approaches like ERP, especially providers who accept insurance. My goal is to provide specialized OCD and anxiety treatment while accepting many insurance plans, making effective care more accessible to individuals who need it.
I am a trauma-informed and LGBTQ+ affirming therapist. I provide online therapy for individuals throughout Louisiana and Florida.
I accept many insurance plans, including Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Ochsner plans, Optum, Aetna, Cigna, UMR, United Healthcare, Humana, and others. For individuals without insurance coverage, I also offer a reasonable sliding fee option.
Many of the difficulties we experience today are connected to patterns we developed throughout our lives. Together, we can identify the thoughts, behaviors, and experiences that may be contributing to anxiety, distress, or dissatisfaction and work toward healthier ways of coping, connecting, and moving forward.
